The Codelift catalogue is organised by in-house family — ORIÓN, MOVILIFT, BP-408, BR-400 — but an installation is not defined by the family: it is defined by the drive and by where the controller ends up. These five pages cut the catalogue the other way. Each one gathers the configurations from every family that fit a given elevator type and says how they differ, so the decision is made against the real shaft instead of a product name.
MRL
01 / 05Controllers for installations with no machine room, in a vertical cabinet beside the shaft, on the landing or built into the landing door frame. Project paperwork and import catalogues call this an MRL elevator; it is the same thing.
HYDRAULIC
02 / 05Controllers for hydraulic power units, as a full cabinet or a compact box when the machine room is already taken by the power unit. They cover housing, goods lifts and refurbishment work, which is where the hydraulic elevator still makes sense.
VVVF TRACTION
03 / 05Controllers for a traction machine driven by a frequency inverter — VVVF, variable voltage and variable frequency — with vector control, smooth starts and stops, and ±1 cm levelling accuracy whatever the car is carrying.
MACHINE ROOM
04 / 05Cabinet controllers for installations that keep their machine room, with control and power grouped inside the same enclosure and accessible from the front. This is the type of the existing stock and of controller replacement in an occupied building.
GOODS AND HOME LIFTS
05 / 05Controllers for short-rise installations with few stops: goods lifts in retail, light industry and hospitality, and home lifts in private housing. The scale of the equipment changes; the build and safety criteria do not.
