ORIÓNORIÓN GEARED WITH INVERTER
ORIÓN control with FUJI Lift-2 inverter and vector control: smooth starts and stops with ±1 cm levelling accuracy regardless of load.
The ORIÓN controller driving a geared traction machine through a FUJI Lift-2 frequency inverter, available from 4 kW (10 A) up to 41 kW (91 A). The inverter switches IGBT transistors to build a three-phase supply variable in voltage and frequency, regulating motor speed while holding torque constant at low speed too.
Control is vector-based: the regulation loop closes on the current the motor draws, which gives smooth starts, speed changes and stops, and levelling accuracy of ±1 cm regardless of car load. The consequences are mechanical and electrical at once — it extends the service life of motor, gearbox and brake, improves the power factor and cuts inrush current from five times to twice rated current, with the energy saving that follows. The main board is programmed as universal, down-collective or full-collective control.
