A made-to-measure car operating panel built on SCHAEFER’s RT 42 series: a stainless steel column with position display, illuminated push buttons, acoustic signalling and the project’s service pictograms.
The RT 42 is a round micro push button with a metal rim and a Ø 28 mm touch plate in stainless steel or aluminium, in mirrored, brushed, anodised or coated finishes. The LED call-acknowledgement halo is available in red, blue, green, white and yellow, running at 12 or 30 V AC/DC and drawing 20 mA at most. Tactile marking is resolved to EN 81-70 on the touch plate itself or with a label, by engraving, laser, embossing with Braille or piercing. The manufacturer states it is tested for five million operations, and vandal-resistant variants to EN 81-71 class 1 exist.
