BP-408 assembly with frequency inverter for geared machines, including terminal strip and emergency station.
A BP-408 assembly on a mounting plate for a geared traction machine: control, frequency inverter, terminal strip and emergency box form one block, wired and verified at the plant.
Control and inverter talk over DCP on RS-485, one of the interfaces the BP-408 carries as standard: the speed reference travels over the bus instead of through on/off contacts, which cuts the wiring between the two units and allows a finer travel profile, with acceleration and braking set by parameter. Positioning can be solved with an absolute linear or rotary encoder, and the EN 81-20/-50 safety module is integrated on the board. Inverter rating is chosen against the existing machine: send us its nameplate data and the number of floors.
