A vertical cabinet with BP-408 control for machine-room-less installations. The platform’s compact format is what makes doing without a machine room viable with no loss of function: the same board can sit next to the shaft or be integrated into the landing door frame.
It includes a rescue box accessible from the landing. In a machine-room-less installation the rescue operation stops being something performed in a plant room and moves to floor level itself, which is EN 81-20's approach where no machine room exists: the means of rescue must be reachable from a safe area. The EN 81-20/-50 safety module is integrated on the board, not bolted on as an accessory. It supports rope and hydraulic installations, absolute positioning with linear or rotary encoders, and safe position evaluation.
