The cabinet configuration for a machine room, with BP-408 control. Control and power stay grouped and accessible from the front, which is what a maintenance engineer wants when the building keeps its plant room and there is no reason to push electronics into the shaft.
Against the platform’s other configurations, this one uses the available space to leave slack in the wiring and room to expand: CANopen I/O modules for additional signals, a car board for calls and relays, and space for the inverter and protections without compromising ventilation. It keeps the integrated EN 81-20/-50 safety module, the CANopen LIFT, DCP, USB and Ethernet interfaces, and the adaptable group algorithm with no additional controller — which is what makes it practical when the building has a bank of lifts rather than a single unit.
